  133. Diane says

While I didn’t Black Friday shop this year, I have in the past. My favorite stores are the drugstores, less crowds and good deals. Time to stock up!

I was actually very surprised that Target wasn’t a madhouse. It seemed like any other busy day. Old Navy was a different story, I decided it wan’t worth waiting in that long line.

  137. Denise L says

  142. colleen t says

My best deal was on Wednesday night. I went to walmart and got the nabi 2 kids tablet for the black friday price of $129. Best Buy had it online at that price and Walmart matched it!

  143. Jodi Cornell says

I was super excited to get all of Old Navy’s Black Friday deals in Thanksgiving night from my own house! Ebates made it even better!

  144. Tina Weiss says

I’ve been in the car all day on the Salt Lake to home (New Mexico) part of my drive from Portland, Oregon. No frugal deals for me today, except free breakfast at the hotel. I still want to find a Garmin GPS deal. I’d love to win a prize to use on some of the great TFF deals shared! 😉

  145. Staci says

Bought a great deal with Perfectly Posh, something on sale for $8 instead of $12 and buy 5 get one free included free shipping.

  154. Brenda says

Oh, I forgot we bought a Wii off of craigslist, so that was my best score. 16 games, a Wii system, and lots of remotes and extras, best part is I can trade in half the games we didn’t want on Amazon and make back almost all the money I paid, so basically a free system and games :)

  155. Michelle H. says

I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a Notre Dame Fighting Irish flag for my husband, the ones I’ve found so far are a bit too small and he wants a new one for our flag pole in the driveway.

  156. Brenda says

My last best find was a pot of home made turkey noodle soup cooking on my in-laws stove. Free food and good company, a steal of a deal!

  157. Charmagne Scott says

Waiting for Cyber Monday to get a deal on a MacBook because I missed the one on Amazon for $962.54 shipped.

  158. Anouk S says

This year I avoided the Black Friday sales – the online ones didn’t offer anything I wanted (as opposed to last year when I got a great deal on my KitchenAid), and there wasn’t anything I wanted in the stores. Although I did go in around 11am to Kohl’s to use my $10 off $10 and bought some K-Cups for $3.50! Not bad for 15 minutes of waiting in line!

  159. Anouk S says

I’m still looking for a nice toaster oven (a 6 slicer) that’s not too expensive but gets good ratings. Doesn’t need to be convection oven: just a simple toaster oven.

  160. Anouk S says

OK, one more that’s kinda silly. I need to replace my can opener (manual) – the one that takes the top off and doesn’t leave a sharp edge. Thanks for the giveaway!

  161. Kim says

I scored a few free after ECBs and bogo deals at CVS.
I also got some 20% off of items already 30% off at Gymboree with free shipping.
Didn’t get much because I don’t have a lot of money and like you say a deal is only a deal if you can afford it.

  162. Kristy W says

We are still looking for a BluRay. Unfortunately I only budgeted $40 for it, and we missed out both online and instore with Walmart.

  163. Kristy W says

Our best deal was a new 50″ tv from Target. Not the BEST deal out there, but after repeated unsuccessful attempts from my poor husband, it was the ONLY deal we could get!!

  164. Kristy W says

I also did pretty well at the Thursday night sale at Michaels, some items for Christmas gifts for more than 50% off. Not a bad deal.

  167. Taryn says

We are still looking for a decent coffee maker that’s under $50-60. We don’t seem to have luck w the super cheap Black Friday special ones and can’t see spending a ton on a Keurig or other fancy brand. Any help would be appreciated!

  171. Taryn says

I also found the best time to hit the mall was around 3am. I had missed the diehard door buster crowd and was there before the morning shoppers. I only went for a few things I couldn’t purchase online. Love the comparison shopping lists you guys do before hand! Thanks for all your hard work :)

I keep one of these in my purse for those times when you wish you had hand creme or moisturizer handy…hubby was happy they had Newcastle Brown Ale @ $9.99 for a 12-pk….it is being consumed right now by happy men playing cards and watching Rugby matches!

  186. Jessica Hoversen says

I bought the Imaginext Castle bonus pack (with extra accessories) from Kohls for $45! Regularly $99.99, then with discounts and minus the $15 Kohls cash it was $45 with tax and free shipping. (Pretty great deal considering the weeks before thanksgiving I saw the basic castle (without the extras) for $39+ tax. Then I was also pretty happy about two action figures I scored for my son at cvs in person free after buy one get one free, and $5 extra cash that printed at the kiosk from my previous beauty purchases! Nice surprise, since I was headed in for Christmas light bulb replacements!

    • Jessica Hoversen says
