PB2 (Powdered Peanut Butter) sale – as low as $2.80 per jar!

I’ve mentioned PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter a few times before, it’s become a staple in my diet.  It’s replaced regular peanut butter and several thousand calories too.

Ok let’s talk a little bit about the PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter, it has 85% less calories and fat than regular peanut butter without a single artificial ingredient.   I recently developed an allergy to peanut butter, not a major one but enough that I knew something was up.  I finally figured out it was peanut butter, but for some odd reason I can use this product – thankfully!  Of course don’t try this if you have a severe allergy, this is just my experience.   It may seem expensive but it stretches a whole lot farther than regular peanut butter would, especially in a smoothie.

You can get a 2pk on Amazon for (one of each flavor) PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter and Powdered Cocoa Peanut Butter for $9.49 shipped FREE with Prime.  Or if you’re new to VitaCost you can get a free $10 credit (code comes via email) through this link and get 2 jars (regularly $5.31 each) for just $5.61 shipped.

Here is a bit of info from the PB2 website…

It’s what’s not in PB2 that makes it so good for you. For starters, our special process removes 85% of the fat calories without the chemicals typically used in producing reduced fat foods. Something else you won’t find in PB2 is preservatives. What you will find is natural roasted peanut flavor.

What have you used PB2 for?  Have you tried this Chocolate/Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie?

You can make it Into peanut butter by adding water . It’s not that great at first but you get used to it, and now I can’t even eat the real peanut butter

Thank you! PB2 was recommended to me but I have not tried it yet. With the Vitacost referral, you can’t beat two jars shipped for $5.61 total.

Kathy, it’s like a miracle calorie saver lol :) I use it like I would regular peanut butter. They give you the mix (with water) ratio to make regular peanut butter. I also use it in smoothies as is in powder form, sooo good!

Barbara it has nothing to do with freedom of speech but you had left the same comment 4 times before we decided to delete the others. You can see we still left one. Also I’m not sure your link is cheaper when you factor in shipping unless shipping is free. I should also add that we DO moderate comments to protect the integrity of our blog.

FYI, I checked Linda’s Delights … The cheapest shipping option was $5.65 (unless you order $100 to get free shipping). With Vitacost, you can get unlimited $10 credits for referring people who make a purchase. That IS the best deal, even if you end up only being able to use it once.

Also, you can choose two free samples from their free sample section (link at bottom of site) with each order. I didn’t find out until after I ordered.

All this talk of calories made me decide to leave my suggestion. Grab and read as fast as you can, Gary Taubes, “Why We Get Fat and What To Do About It.” This book has changed my understanding about fat and eating(and many other things as well, but that is for a different post!). Since reading and implementing the way of eating, I have not counted a SINGLE calorie, have eaten as much fat as I have desired(good fats like butter and coconut oil), and I have lost 15 pounds because of it. This is not a get thin quick plan(although it may do that for you), but rather a thorough education on fat and how we gain it, get it off, why certain people have more/less, etc.

I ordered it when you posted it some time ago…I just can’t figure out how to get that powdered taste to go away when making a smoothie. Any suggestions?

Be great to have in your emergency survival kit. Think I’ll order a couple. I have tried this before when my sister ordered it. It tastes like…peanut butter! :)

I never try this one but I tried Trader Joe’s. They sell it in vacuum pack. It is very handy in preparing Indonesian food that required peanut sauce :) for example the chicken satay peanut sauce. :)

Love love this product! I sprinkle it on the kids cereal and tell them it’s Reese’s. They love it or mix it with really ripe bananas and freeze in small balls and dip in melted chocolate or carob chips such a yummy treat!!

I use it like regular peanut butter – in a spoon with chocolate chips on top! Or on toast with fruit. My dad mixed the powder with Newman’s Own low fat sesame ginger dressing to make a salad/slaw dressing that tastes like Thai peanut sauce. I’m still experimenting, but the next thing I’m going to try is Michelle’s suggestion to mix with bananas and dip in chocolate. :)

I like this peanut butter. I make smoothies or add water for peanut butter. I eat it with slice apples . Only 1 point for WW instead of 5.
