Shopping list- electronics for the kids- the two older ones (11 & 8) want ipod nanos. Would like to get the youngest (4) a learning tablet like the leappad or vtech tablet because he just loves my kindle fire. Hoping someone has some deals on these items.

  2. Nyssa Stack says

Ready for Christmas to start. So excited to give my gifts this year. I shop all year long to lessen the blow. I would a chain for my lock charm that broke and to get my watch fixed. My kids would love anything they see on TV.

  3. Stephanie says

A gift card to Walmart is one of the best prizes one can get… can buy anything with it! Gifts, treats or necessities!

  4. helenlam says

  5. LisaH says

started shopping here & there (ie free Lip Smackers from Rite Aid recently will make great add-on gifts). :) but nothing “big” yet…….my kids are older so that means expensive electronics, usually. ha.

  6. Larissa says

I am over half way finished with my Christmas shopping!! I still need to get a couple of DS Nintendos and 2 American Girl Dolls!

  7. Katy says

I’ve started a little – we do our immediate little family, then usually homemade gifts for all the closest branches of our family.

  8. Katy says

Read that wrong – what, not who! Okay, the what – a Nintendo DS for our little guy, and maybe a good used bike for him to learn on… no idea for anyone else!

  9. Susan T says

Christmas shopping…um no. :) But i’ve started a list. Trying to find an affordable tablet for the family to share.

  10. Lynsey Nahalea says

I haven’t done the bulk on my Christmas shopping yet. I have just picked up items here and there when they were on sale. I plan on getting a tablet or ereader for my son this year.

  11. Ann Rivas says

  17. Anouk S says

All done shopping . . . for the most part – except for my husband and not sure what to get him yet. Lots of books and educational puzzles for the nieces and nephew and my baby girl!

  18. annie metcalfe says

LOVE Walmart – could use it for yarn to make hats for Sandy Victims or toiletries and blankest for them here in NJ

  19. Sarah W. says

I still need to get some lotion for my Grandma. Been getting her the same thing for years! I don’t know about my brother yet, probably music of some sort. Books for other family. And my bestie. She’s easy to shop for, but I like to get her something special.

  20. Danielle says

Its going to be the Christmas of the Bed… already got some sheets on sale at Macys, getting the fether topper at target, wishing that Bed Bath and Beyond would have a sale on their duvet covers- cause thats the one thing thats killing the buget.

  21. Pam says

I got a Princess Tiana doll from Amazon when they were on sale. Love ordering from Amazon instead of going to the stores!

  22. Anonymous says

I am not as close to being done as I like to be early in November but we don’t buy for that many people so I don’t feel so bad.

  23. Kelly A. says

I started doing my shopping about a week ago. My strategy this year is to get more and smaller things for the kids (so far the $5 Monopoly from TRU and $5 Hello Kitty watch that’s on Amazon) and putting together gift baskets with things that I get from couponing (like this weeks’ awesome deal on Glade candles at Target)

  24. Chrissy says

Yes, I have but I still have a ways to go. My daughter wants a Furreal Puppy so I’ll be watching for deals on that. :)

  25. Ketner7171 says

Only half done with my shopping this year, there just hasn’t been as many deals this year on the toys my kids are into.

  26. says

No, I have not started. I know, I know. Won’t really be able to though until hopefully the beginning of December when things will be picking back up (things at hubby’s job).

  27. Katherine says

Haven’t started but our 7 year old daughter is newly into American Girl Dolls, so I imagine that will be top of her list!

  28. Maria T. says

I have not started shopping yet. My daughters both want Nexus 7 tablets and my husband and I are considering a new memory foam mattress.

  29. Mary Helen says

I have not started shopping yet, but plan to do so soon! One thing on my list is a toddler basketball goal for my son :)

Yes, already started shopping. I have some beauty items on there for my sister and my son wants toys and video games!

  31. Stephanie W. says

I have started my shopping but I hope to make as many gifts as I can this year, so I need alot of craft supplies (yarn, fabric etc)

  32. Sara Z says

I try to shop all year long. I still need to figure out what to get for my pre-teen son. They are so hard at this age!

  33. Marica V. says

  34. Jamie Brigham says

Master Moves Mickey is on my shopping list for my son and no I haven’t started, I am typically a late shopper.

  35. christy says

Only bought one thing so far. Not getting too crazy this year, we are taking the kids to disney world after Christmas!

  36. Staci says

I have started shopping and am trying to grab a few things a week to spread it out a little. We have started the something you need/wear/want/read christmas this year so only having to shop for 4 gifts per person is really different.

  37. Tegan says

I’ve already started my Christmas shopping. The freebies we get from the drugstores throughout the year will be stocking stuffers as well.
